Information We Process
The app may process lesson materials, teacher notes, vocabulary added during a lesson, selected lesson blocks, interface settings, and the content a teacher chooses to send to Zoom chat.
When the app runs inside Zoom, it may use Zoom App SDK context required to identify that it is running in a meeting and to send teacher-approved messages to the meeting chat.
Information We Do Not Store From Zoom
- We do not record Zoom meetings.
- We do not store Zoom audio, video, or participant video feeds.
- We do not read private user messages.
- We do not store Zoom OAuth tokens.
- We do not store Zoom user profile data or Zoom meeting participant lists on our server.
- We do not store Zoom meeting chat history on our server.
- We do not send lesson materials automatically. A teacher must explicitly choose what to send.
Local Browser Storage
The app may store settings, selected methodology, lesson state, new words, and basket content in the user's browser storage so the teacher can continue working without losing progress.
Users can remove locally stored app state by clearing site data for this app in their browser or Zoom embedded browser environment.
AI Word Assistant
If the AI word assistant is enabled, the word or phrase entered by the teacher, selected language settings, and editable assistant rules may be sent to the configured AI provider to generate spelling hints, grammar notes, translations, and emoji suggestions.
The app currently uses OpenAI API when configured by the app operator. Teachers can use demo mode or disable AI-assisted formatting when needed.
Data Sharing
We do not sell personal information. Lesson text is shared only when the teacher sends it to Zoom chat or copies it for another destination.
Retention and De-authorization
Because the app does not store Zoom OAuth tokens, Zoom meeting data, or Zoom chat history on its server, de-authorizing the app stops its future Zoom access without leaving stored Zoom data on our server.
Local browser lesson state remains under the user's control and can be deleted by clearing browser site data. Support requests sent by email may be retained only as long as needed to answer and document the request.
Data Subject Rights
Users may request access, correction, or deletion of personal data related to the app by contacting support. Users may also object to processing or request restriction of processing where applicable. Because most lesson state is stored in the user's browser, users can clear browser data to remove locally stored settings and lesson content.
